AGREEMENT,
It is this day mitually agreed between

schedule hørete (hereinafter called the Labourer) of the other part.
How it is hereby agreed between the parties as follows:-
(1). That the said Labourer is willing to pressed to and be
played there as he may be directed for six or twelve months at
Employers' option as a seslie for leading and unloading vessels
transporting goods and any kind of general work connected with tha
refining and handling of petrolem and all such labour as
required on the Employers' concession.
(2). That each of the persons named and described in the sche-
dule hereto receives an advance of $15.00 which shall be deduéted by
monthly instalments by the Employers at the rate of $3.00 a month.
(3). That the expenses for conveying the labourer to his destin-
ation and back to Singapore on termination of the agreement shall be
borne by the Employers, but should the Labourer desire to resign the
service before the termination of the agreement, he shall make good
all debts incurred by hin, give a month's notice to the ployers of
such intention and pay his om passage to Singapore,
(4). That the Hmployers will, during the continuance of the
agreement, provide the Labourer free of charge and to the satisfast-
ion of the local authority of the plase where the agreement is to be
performed, with suitable house sacómodation, with medical attendance
and treatment during any time spent by the Labourer in Hospital with
diet.
(5), Ten hours shall constitute a day's work at 45 cents per
working day.
(6). The Hmployers shall provide the Labourer with feed and the
Labourer shall take his food from the Employers paying the Hopleyers
at the rate of 15 cents per day exoept Sundays and the usual Chinese
Holidays when the Employers will supply the Labourer with food free of charge.
